The Verified Standard

CNCVerified is an English directory of China CNC machine-tool builders. A plant is listed only as Document Verified or Onsite Audited. Paid placement does not skip evidence. Specs that the official catalog does not print stay empty.

Document Verified

The English legal name on the listing is the name on the business license. Certificate scans, when shown, carry a scope line and an expiry. An English datasheet is countersigned so a buyer is not reading a sales slogan as a machine table.

The public page does not publish factory mailboxes, factory websites, or personal mobiles scraped from company registries. RFQs are routed privately. If the license and the English name disagree, the plant stays in the CRM queue and does not go live.

Onsite Audited

Everything required for Document Verified, plus a dated third-party walk-through (SGS, TÜV, Bureau Veritas or equivalent) and nameplate stills of the machines that would actually cut an RFQ. Desensitized CMM or first-article samples are filed when the plant has them.

Onsite is not “gold membership.” A plant can pay for a homepage slot and still be Document Verified if no walk-through is on file. The public grade always follows evidence.

What this directory is

The English site is for overseas buyers who need a machine-tool builder: VMC, HMC, 5-axis, gantry, lathe, Swiss, grinders, PCB routers, controls. It is not a job-shop marketplace and not a trading company. The purchase order stays between the buyer and the plant. CNCVerified does not sit in the payment chain.

Chinese factories apply on /cn. Submitting the join form files a CRM record. It does not publish an English page. Publication happens after an editor matches the license, the website, and the nameplate table.

How a nameplate gets on /machines

Rows on /machines are copied from the builder’s official public table: brand, model, axes, travel, spindle, taper, control, and the source URL. If the factory site does not print a number, the cell is a dash. We do not fill gaps from brochures, distributors, or memory.

A listing may have a process tag (5-axis, gantry, Swiss) taken from those rows. The tag is not a promise that every machine in the hall will hold a drawing’s tightest callout. Match the model to the print before you RFQ.

Certificates

ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100D and ISO 13485 are listed only with a scope note. A logo on a homepage banner is not a certificate row. If the scope is automotive components and the RFQ is an airframe fitting, the listing does not pretend the certificate covers the fitting.

RFQ channel

A buyer may tick up to five plants from the machine table. The packet is emailed to each plant’s published sales address. Quotes are sealed: plants do not see each other’s replies through CNCVerified. Drawings, if attached, travel with that packet. The tray is a session, not a public shortlist.

What we will not put on a public page

We will not invent shop-floor photos, CMM reports, or a “response %.” We will not list a trader alias as a factory. We will not mark Onsite Audited because someone bought a homepage module. We will not scrape a legal-person’s mobile into the English profile.

How to read a listing as a buyer

Start on /machines if you already know a travel, taper or control family. Open the plant page for the grade, city, envelope and the same nameplate rows. If two plants look identical, they will not: headings, FAQ and JSON-LD are built from that plant’s rows, not a cloned template paragraph. Compare at most four listings. Then send one RFQ packet rather than five cold emails with different prints.

Questions about the Standard

Is Document Verified the same as a paid listing?

No. Document Verified means license, English datasheet and honest catalog cells. A homepage module never upgrades the grade by itself.

Who performs an Onsite Audited walk-through?

A dated SGS, TÜV, Bureau Veritas or equivalent report. CNCVerified staff snapshots are not a substitute for that date.

Why are some machine cells empty?

The builder’s official table did not print that figure. Empty is the rule. Guessing a travel or rpm is how directories get discarded by engineers and by search quality systems.

Does CNCVerified take a commission?

No. The purchase order is between buyer and factory. RFQs are mailed to the plant’s published sales email.

How does a Chinese factory get listed?

Apply on /cn. Review first, English page second. Invite-only login after the listing is accepted.

Are these contract machine shops?

The English cohort is machine-tool builders. If you need a job shop, say so in the RFQ notes so the packet is not mis-routed.
