HL2540L is retained at its existing directory URL. The currently reviewed Qiqihar horizontal-lathe catalogue lists HTI, HTII/IIP and HTIII, and does not establish this exact legacy designation’s numerical capacity or photograph. The HT-family illustrations and series tables are therefore not assigned to HL2540L. For an existing machine, provide its builder/nameplate and original build documentation; for a new machine, request the current offered model and suffix.
For a heavy shaft or rotor enquiry, give blank material, mass, length, stepped diameters, centres and centre of gravity. Draw the chuck or faceplate engagement, tailstock and all proposed steady-rest locations. Ask the builder to qualify load reactions, overhang and operating speed for that actual support arrangement. Swing diameter alone cannot establish supported weight or usable cutting access.
The current HT pages describe different guideway/bed arrangements and selectable rests, milling, grinding or boring accessories. Those belong to their stated series and supplied builds, not automatically to this legacy record. Identify tool approach, groove/bore depth, support interference and the required attachment/control integration. A separate showcase machine’s large diameter and load must not become an HL2540L specification.
Agree the exact foundation/installation drawing, delivery and lifting constraints, alignment conditions and a representative roughing/finishing trial. Record workholding/support settings and inspect required datums, straightness, concentricity, sizes and surface conditions under an agreed thermal/support state. State whether released-part or in-situ measurements govern acceptance. Request regional service and spare responsibilities for the actual builder and configuration.
