Brother CAK6160

Shandong Xiongdi CAK6160 is a larger-bed-swing CNC turning family for shaft, disc and other rotational features. The table lists 610 mm swing over the bed and processing length choices 750, 1000, 1500, 2000 or 3000 mm. Name the ordered length and suffix before comparing machine capacity. The approved original image comes from the dedicated CAK6160-1000 page and is visibly marked CAK6160X1000; it does not represent all longer-bed configurations.

Base spindle bore is 52 mm with MT6 internal taper; B lists 80 mm bore and Ø90 at 1:20 taper, C 105 mm bore and Ø113 at 1:20 taper. CAK6150-C instead lists 104 mm, so those family figures must not be made identical. The reviewed CAK6160 table does not establish cross-slide swing: request tool/slide clearance for the clamped blank rather than treating 610 mm bed swing as cutting diameter.

The table gives a 7.5 kW spindle motor, a manual three-range 21–1500 rpm arrangement and a separate 100–1600 rpm independent-spindle alternative. Confirm the offered drive, gear-change method, control and speed–torque curve rather than adding both speed packages together. X/Z rapid is 4/6 m/min and tailstock sleeve travel 150 mm with MT5 taper. The latter is separate from tailstock positioning, supported cut length and permitted rotating setup.

Agree the chuck, jaws, toolholder, tailstock/rests and actuation as a single configuration. Trial the longest relevant supported cut, difficult shoulder and thread run-out, including loading, gear changes, indexing and inspection. Table/prose repeatability figures differ and do not guarantee released-part straightness or geometry. The 1000-length packaging reference is 2750 × 1550 × 1900 mm; obtain defined net/shipping mass and actual handling, foundation, utility and commissioning drawings for the ordered length.
