Chenguang CGK-401
Chenguang CGK-401 is a CNC thread-whirling machine for long threaded components. The CGK-401 column lists a maximum workpiece length of 6000 mm, a 160 mm maximum clamping diameter and a milling-diameter range from 20 to 120 mm. Clamping capacity is therefore different from the maximum diameter that can be machined by the whirling head.
Workpiece rotation is listed from zero to 20 rpm, while the whirling head runs from 500 to 2000 rpm. The head permits a helix-angle adjustment of ±20 degrees, and the catalog covers threads with one to 24 starts. Select the cutter, helix setting and support arrangement from the actual thread geometry and material condition.
The manufacturer offers Siemens 828D or 840D control and describes closed-loop feedback using linear scales and a rotary encoder. Its process functions include pitch and pitch-diameter taper compensation. Provide lead, pitch, thread profile, straightness requirement and support locations through RFQ. For a long shaft, agree the inspection datum and support strategy rather than assuming machine length alone establishes finished-part accuracy.

Can a 160 mm diameter be thread-whirled on this model?
The maximum clamping diameter is 160 mm, but the published milling diameter is limited to 120 mm. Check both dimensions.
