Dekay V855
Dekay V855 is a vertical machining center for plate, disc, housing and mold work. The product description lists milling, drilling, reaming, boring and tapping within one clamping setup, subject to the access required by the individual part. Its published travels are 800 × 550 × 550 mm, with a 500 kg worktable-load limit.
The reviewed brochure pairs an 8000 rpm BT40 spindle with a 24-tool magazine and Mitsubishi M80B control. All three linear axes have a listed rapid traverse of 48 m/min. These are positioning speeds; the listed cutting-feed rate is 10 m/min and should not be confused with the rapid value.
The brochure separates the standard spindle from optional direct-drive and built-in high-speed packages. It also lists a fourth-axis rotary table, probing, tool setting and coolant-through-spindle as options. Confirm those items for the intended material and workholding arrangement; their presence in an options list does not establish inclusion on the pictured machine.
