FINCM BDM3040/3
FINCM BDM3040/3 is a gantry drilling machine for large bridge steel structures. The manufacturer describes high-speed drilling on three sides, using three drilling power heads. The published workpiece range for this variant is 32000 mm in length, 800–2400 mm in width and 4000 mm in height; length can be customized by agreement.
The BDM table lists a maximum drilling diameter of 50 mm and 14 CNC axes. These are the overall machine’s controlled axes, not a claim of 14-axis simultaneous cutting. The product description also lists CAD/CAM automatic conversion, which should be checked against the customer’s drawing formats and fabrication data.
The shared series table includes BDM3046/3 and BDM4035/3, but their height and width entries are not substituted for BDM3040/3 here. For a real project, supply the longest and widest welded members, hole patterns, datum strategy and loading plan. Request confirmation of head access, clamping, chip handling and the configured spindle package, which are not quantified in the reviewed table.
