GROB G350T

G350T is GROB’s five-axis universal mill-turn centre, a different operating route from G350 milling. Its linear travels remain 600 × 855 × 750 mm, but interference diameter is 620 mm rather than G350’s 720 mm. The 570 mm table requires a complete mounted-envelope review. Identify the turned feature that must remain related to the milled datum, and specify indexed, simultaneous and turning operations separately.

The technical panel presents load with/without a pallet as 270/350 kg; stated without/with order is therefore 350/270 kg. Do not import G350’s 400/340 kg values. The A/B rotary ranges are 230°/360° and B-axis maximum turning speed is 1200 rpm. Obtain approved workholding, rotating mass/inertia, balance and safe speed for the particular blank. Maximum table speed is not permission to spin every asymmetric fixture at that speed.

The spindle-version section lists HSK-A/T63, 16,000 rpm and 206 Nm. Application examples describe other packages and do not establish the quoted unit’s configuration. The mill-turn table lists star-shaped T-slots as standard and pallet clamping as an option. Single-disc tool length is 365 mm; double-disc limits are 365/180/550 mm for bottom/top/over both discs. Agree complete tool interfaces, turning retention, occupied slots and tool mass/diameter limits.

The published 70/45/90 m/min maximum linear speeds, 2.7 s speed-dependent chip-to-chip reference and 0.006 mm linear positioning reference do not establish finished-part tolerance or production rate. Trial the linked turned/milled datum under the agreed clamping and thermal sequence, then inspect using the contract method. Control, postprocessor, probing, pallet storage and safe automated recovery need separate scope. The listed mass is 15,500 kg; obtain installed layout and manufacturing origin.
