STS H46 is a CNC lathe in the manufacturer’s H series. The H46 column specifies an A2-5 spindle nose, a 56 mm spindle bore and a maximum 45 mm bar diameter. The common series table lists a 400 mm swing, 320 mm maximum turning diameter and 250 mm Z travel.
The standard control is Syntec, with FANUC shown as optional. The source lists a sleeve-type spindle as standard and an electric-spindle option. H46’s maximum speed is 4000 rpm, and its spindle motor entry is 5.5 kW. The 7.5 kW drive-power figure is a separate table entry, not an alternative motor rating.
The X-travel figure is explicitly expressed in diameter programming, so it is retained with that label instead of being presented as an ordinary linear stroke. A turret, alternative workholding and automation accessories are optional. Although the model table gives a nominal 6-inch chuck size, the options section requires the actual chuck or collet package to be selected.
Is a turret included with every H46?
No. The manufacturer marks the turret as an option. Confirm station count, tool arrangement and any driven-tool requirement in the quotation.
