STS HXY46 is a slant-bed CNC turning model with a Y-axis configuration. The published HXY46 column lists 45 mm bar capacity, a 6-inch chuck and an A2-5 spindle nose. Its 150 mm turning-diameter rating is separate from the 160 mm swing figure, so chuck jaws and tool clearance still need to be checked for the proposed part.
The manufacturer specifies a 30-degree cast slant bed, 250 mm Z travel and 200 mm Y travel. X is stated as an 800 mm diameter-programmed value; it should not be read as an 800 mm physical cross-slide stroke. The mechanical spindle cartridge is described as standard, with an electric-spindle option and alternative driven-head arrangements.
Maximum spindle speed is 4000 rpm with a 5.5 kW spindle motor. Use RFQ to identify bar diameter, cross holes, milled features and the required driven-tool package. Confirm the control, spindle braking arrangement and tool clearance. A Y axis alone does not establish the number, power or orientation of every driven tool supplied.
Is the 800 mm X figure a physical slide stroke?
The table identifies it as a diameter-programmed value. Confirm the actual tool-position envelope for the selected holders.
