Zonjet ZJD20-1612 is a BTA deep-hole drilling machine with a published 20–120 mm drilling-diameter range and up to 2000 mm drilling depth. Its 1800 × 1500 mm table is rated for 15 tonnes; the catalog identifies the 1800 mm dimension as the drilling direction. Workpiece length, entry support and tool clearance still determine a usable setup.
The spindle reaches 1000 rpm and uses a 30 kW rated motor, with 37 kW specified for a 30-minute overload period. These are different duty ratings. X, Y and Z travels are 1600, 1200 and 2000 mm, and the listed rapid traverse is 3800 mm/min.
The BTA coolant system is rated at 30 kgf/cm² with a maximum flow of 345 L/min. Pressure and flow should be selected for the bore, material and chip evacuation rather than assumed simultaneously available at every operating point. Send bore geometry, straightness and surface requirements, material condition and fixture drawings through RFQ. Allow for the approximately 38-ton machine and its 10.3-metre footprint.
