SG450 configuration review

For SG450, the model table lists 450 mm bed swing, 370 mm maximum turning length and a 52 mm bar capacity. Shaft and disc cutting diameters differ. Control brands are offered as alternatives, so the final RFQ should identify the selected controller, workholding, tailstock needs and automated handling interfaces.

Turning machine selection

SG450 covers the smaller slant-bed turning configuration. SG500CXF belongs to the turning-and-milling family and requires confirmation of its driven-tool package. SG630 provides a larger hard-guideway arrangement with 90 mm bar capacity and a 22 kW spindle drive.

Compare cutting limits separately for shafts and discs, then check chuck clearance, tailstock support and the exact turret arrangement. Spindle bore is not interchangeable with usable bar capacity. Submit the required turning and cross-machining operations in the RFQ.
