Baoma EDM450ZNC

EDM450ZNC is the model named in Baoma's current die-sinking page, parameter table and image. The page path contains CNC, but the actual product is explicitly described as single-axis numerical control. Preserve that distinction when preparing a cavity operation: ZNC alone is not evidence of simultaneous three-axis machining, programmed X/Y positioning or an automatic electrode magazine.

The table lists X/Y motion 450 × 350 mm, a 700 × 400 mm worktable, 1000 kg table load and 150 kg spindle load. Electrode-head-to-table distance is 180–580 mm. The servo-stroke notation is 200 + 200 mm; request the dimensional drawing explaining each motion before calculating the usable approach. Include the electrode holder, cavity depth, flushing and withdrawal rather than checking only blank height.

A shaped blind cavity requires an electrode plan as well as a machine envelope. Specify electrode material and geometry, rough/finish allowances, corner radii and the replacement sequence. Agree how X/Y setting, orbiting and electrode change are performed on the selected build. The manufacturer best-surface entry ≤0.2 Ra μm explicitly requires an orbiting head, so that result is not an unconditional basic-machine claim.

The listed 400 mm³/min maximum rate and ≤0.3% minimum electrode wear require material and process conditions; do not promise both on the same finished cavity. Trial roughing and finishing electrodes with the intended dielectric and flushing. Measure released cavity form, depth, corners and surface, recording electrode wear and total setting/change/inspection time. Confirm tank operation, dielectric handling, ventilation, the actual electrical installation and destination support. The whole original image visibly reads EDM450ZNC and cannot establish unlisted automation.
