T55MS’s accurate Chinese model page describes two spindles with synchronized docking for front and reverse-end machining. Its table gives 550 mm swing, 300 mm maximum machining diameter, 429 mm maximum machining length and 180/535 mm X/Z travel. Plan the first grip, receiving-jaw contact, transfer position and final tool access. A dual-spindle description does not by itself establish Y motion or independent simultaneous cutting with two turrets.

The main-spindle reference is A2-6, 5000 rpm maximum, 62 mm bore and 11/15 kW continuous/30-minute power. The reviewed table leaves bar capacity blank and does not state the receiving spindle’s bore, speed/power, stroke or gripping limit. Request those details with the actual chuck, jaws and blank; neither main-spindle bore nor a nearby model’s motion table can replace the handover specification.

The powered turret has twelve positions, 40 mm maximum boring-bar diameter and 25 × 25 mm OD tool size in the published table. Check complete live holders, neighbour occupancy, synchronization/control functions and collisions during docking and reverse-end machining. The old English MS URL now leads to MSY, a different designation, so its Y-axis and other numbers are not copied into this MS record. X/Z rapid rates of 30/30 m/min do not determine transfer or total part time.

Demonstrate grip confirmation, synchronized transfer, parting if required, withdrawal, machining and recovery from a stopped handover. Inspect front/reverse-end datum relationship, runout or face position after release under agreed conditions, repeating production chip and jaw-contact conditions.
