Hengya: specify the pipe end before choosing the lathe.

Pipe threading and heavy shaft turning need different support and clearance checks. Compare QK1313 with the 550 mm-bed CK6180 and 600/650 mm-bed CK61100 on the actual workpiece.

Individual current manufacturer tables and an original SME-platform company record reviewed 8 October 2026

What goes through the spindle—and what stays between centres?

A threaded pipe end

QK1313 ↗ is listed for Ø30–126 mm pipe threading. Its 135 mm spindle bore is a different dimension. Provide pipe OD, wall thickness, straightness, total length, end preparation and the thread drawing. Confirm the chuck opening, rear support and actual usable passage with the final jaws.

A shaft, sleeve or large disc

CK6180 ↗ and CK61100 ↗ are CNC turning references with separate bed and cross-slide swings. For a shaft, start with supported length and mass; for a disc, start with jaws, overhang and tool access. Neither a large bed swing nor a 1500 mm centre distance is a finished-part capacity on its own.

Hengya also lists ordinary pipe-threading machines, slant-bed CNC pipe-threading machines, large-bore lathes and automatic pipe-cutting equipment. Those are separate routes. The three existing model records below do not establish automatic loading, live tooling or complete pipe production on one machine.

Compare one documented build at a time

The CK6180 reference here is the 550 mm-bed version. CK61100 is listed under 600/650 mm beds. Do not combine neighbouring catalogue pages simply because the model designation is similar.

On a small screen, swipe the table sideways to compare all three models. Keyboard users can focus it and use the arrow keys.

QK1313's table also lists a 300 mm spindle centre height alongside 630 mm bed swing. Ask for the current dimensional drawing to resolve that relationship. CK61100's slash values do not explain which bed width corresponds to each mass; do not choose one by inference.

For pipe threading, support the full rotating pipe

Grip without distorting the wall
Provide the minimum wall, ovality and jaw-contact length. Ask for the actual jaw/bore arrangement and permissible grip force. Demonstrate the thread after unclamping; holding a thin pipe round during cutting does not prove its released geometry.
Control the protruding length
Show the pipe extending behind the headstock, supports and enclosure. Agree allowable unsupported length, support adjustment, straightness and operating speed for that specific pipe. The 135 mm bare spindle bore neither approves an unsupported long pipe nor establishes through-feed automation.
Make the thread inspectable
Specify thread standard, size, pitch, taper where applicable, gauge method, run-out and sealing/datum requirements. Include chamfer, relief, burr removal and reversal/regripping if both ends are required. A threading diameter range does not confirm every thread form or gauge result.

The QK1313 page lists two variable-speed ranges and a four-station electric turret, with 2.6 s indexing. Confirm gear selection, threading synchronisation, tool offsets and cutting conditions at the required diameter. Indexing time is not a pipe-end production cycle.

For CK6180 and CK61100, draw the load and the occupied tool path

Long or slender work

Include centres, tailstock engagement, steady/follower rest where needed, grip length and worst tool position. Request the selected build's permitted workpiece mass and load distribution, which are not in these tables. The 1500 mm centre-distance entry must leave space for the actual tooling and support.

Large discs and stepped shafts

Check the cross-slide swing—530 mm for this CK6180 and 680 mm for CK61100—against the actual step and toolholder. Add chuck jaws, balance and overhang to the clearance and load calculation. A 1000 mm bed swing does not guarantee turning a 1000 mm disc over the slide.

CK6180's three ranges reach 1200 rpm; CK61100's table reaches 700 rpm. These are range limits, not recommended speeds for every large part. Request usable torque and allowable speed with the proposed chuck, mass and diameter. The 0.001 mm minimum feed-setting unit on both CK tables describes command increment; it is not positioning accuracy, roundness or a tolerance guarantee.

Freeze the control, tool map and bed version in the quotation

What the three control tables actually include

All three list GSK980TC3 as standard and FANUC 0i-TF, Siemens 808D, KND K1000Ti and GSK980TDC as alternatives. This is a catalogue configuration list, not confirmation that every option remains available or supports the same threading cycle and interfaces. Specify the delivered CNC, drives, cycle functions, language, manuals, software/parameter backups and destination service.

The original references use four-station vertical electric turrets. Occupy the stations with facing, external threading, boring and parting tools where required, including holder interference and tool setting. CK6180 and CK61100 list 4.1 s indexing; this does not include all cutting, approach, chip removal or inspection. Do not assume live tools, a subspindle or unmanned loading.

For installation, the published machine dimensions and net masses are starting references. Obtain a selected-build foundation, lifting, packing, power and service-access drawing. Define coolant/chip handling, rear pipe support, guarding and installation responsibilities. Resolve CK6180's MT5/6 tailstock entry and CK61100's bed/mass alternatives before ordering accessories or preparing the floor.

Accept a released part and a repeatable cycle

  1. Use the difficult sample

For QK1313, trial the thin wall, longest supported pipe and demanding thread form. For a CK lathe, trial the longest supported shaft or largest overhung disc actually needed. State material, allowance, fixtures and inspection method in the trial plan.

  2. Measure after release

Inspect thread gauge results, taper and run-out relative to the drawing; for shafts or sleeves, check roundness, size and datum relationships after unclamping. Record warm-up and measurement conditions. Never use minimum command increment as the acceptance criterion.

  3. Include the handling

Time loading, support setting, gear selection, cutting, turret indexing, chip clearing, regripping and inspection. Run the agreed repeat sample and record rejects. Compare accepted parts per shift with the staffing and support equipment that will actually be supplied.

  4. Leave with the delivered-build records

Keep the approved configuration, dimensional/load drawings, trial results, operating limits, parameter/software backups and training/service plan. Establish who handles fixtures, gauges, consumables and installation at the destination.

Hengya's company identity and the scope of this review

The current company materials identify 山东恒亚机床制造有限公司 in Yishui, Shandong, with pipe-threading and CNC turning among its core ranges. An original SME-platform company list also names the company at entry 2999, in Yishui, under record 2024371323A8005084. That is a dated company/listing reference, not a certification of a machine or order.

Historical origin statements and current registration details require separate evidence. Identify the exact legal seller, builder, selected machine and destination support provider on the contract. General ISO/CE or production-capacity statements are not substitutes for current certificate scope, model conformity documentation or a demonstrated delivery schedule.

The numeric references above come from the individual current product tables. The available machine photographs carry contact information on their plates and are not republished here. Selected-build drawings and matched, clean photographs should accompany the quotation; a neighbouring model's picture will not establish what is included.

Send the pipe or part drawing—not just the model name

Include material, OD/wall or part dimensions, total length and mass, thread/gauge or tolerance requirements, blank condition, grip/support concept, sample/output target, chosen bed/control package and installation destination. For two pipe ends, describe regripping and handling; for a heavy shaft or disc, include the occupied tool and load drawing.
