The PHISONG M1080B is a centerless grinder for cylindrical surfaces on rings and shafts. Through-feed grinding passes a suitable part between the wheels, while the manual plunge arrangement accommodates stepped or tapered rotational surfaces within the published plunge limits. Both methods cover workpiece diameters from 5 to 80 mm; the maximum plunge length is 140 mm.
A 500 mm grinding wheel is paired with a 300 mm regulating wheel. Their stated speeds are 1300 rpm and 10–200 rpm respectively. The grinding-wheel motor is rated at 15 kW, while the regulating-wheel motor is rated at 1.5 kW. These separate drives serve different functions in material removal and workpiece control.
Before selecting the machine, define the support arrangement, grinding allowance, wheel specification and dressing procedure for the actual material. The 0.0025 mm handwheel graduation is a setting increment, not a guaranteed finished-part tolerance. Include loading, guarding, coolant and inspection needs in the RFQ.
