Grinding range and applications

Selecting the grinding method

Centerless grinding supports suitable outside profiles between wheels and a workrest; the FX32-500 has a between-centers capacity rating; the VG-600 combines vertical workholding with bore-dependent internal grinding limits.
Choose the process from the datum scheme, part geometry, support method and required finish. Do not compare a minimum feed increment with finished-part accuracy, or apply the vertical grinder’s deeper bore rating to every diameter. Provide drawings, stock allowance and inspection requirements through the on-site RFQ.
