Tsugami B038T

B038T combines a 38 mm maximum-machinable-diameter reference with an eight-station turret and 45 total tools. Multiple tools can be mounted at a station, with the described Y selection enabling some changes without indexing the turret. Forty-five total tools is not forty-five turret stations. Submit the full holder map with each tool’s reach and occupied clearance.

The model page describes three control paths, back-tool-post Y motion and live-tool arrangements for front/back milling. Main speed is 200–5000 rpm and back speed 200–7000 rpm. Draw the front cut, transfer and back operation as a timing chart, then review synchronisation and shared tool space. Three paths can permit overlap but do not guarantee a particular finished-part cycle.

Published rapid traverse is 24 m/min for the listed X1/X2/X3, Y1/Y2/Y3 and Z1/Z2/Z3 axes. This is not a statement of simultaneous nine-axis machining. The main motor is listed as 7.5/11 kW without duty labels; confirm the rating curve and rear/live-tool package on the quoted revision. Do not import B038M’s CAPTO C4 magazine arrangement into this turret configuration.

Use a sample requiring the intended simultaneous front/back operations. Inspect the datum relation after release and record transfer waiting, turret/Y selection, tool-life intervention and restart as well as cutting time. The body reference is 3427 × 1875 × 1790 mm and mass 6200 kg. Request actual feeder, chip/coolant and access clearances, plus training on the purchased path allocation and recovery sequence.
