GS6-200Y is identified in its original material as a compact hard-guideway turning centre with a composite Y arrangement and oil-cooled synchronous spindle. The table gives 200 mm maximum machining length, Ø550 mm bed swing and Ø350 mm swing over the slide. Those swing dimensions are not labelled maximum turning diameter and cannot be renamed as a cutting capacity.
X/Z travel is 165/275 mm, with asymmetric Y +35/−22.5 mm and C 360°. This is its own coordinate record, not the conditional GT8 Y table. X/Z/Y rapid traverse is 16/16/8 m/min.
